Trailmaps is a mapping company based in the Highlands of Scotland, producing detailed and high quality maps for outdoor recreation. Run by Steve and Penelope Smirthwaite, the maps are printed on waterproof paper and can be used for activities such as walking, biking, horse riding, fishing and boating. Many areas in the Highlands of Scotland are covered including a Strathspey series of bike and walking maps in the Cairngorm National Park near Aviemore.
Further popular maps are available covering areas such as The Deeside Way and Ballater on Royal Deeside and the trails surrounding Pitlochry. A Highland 5 series of the high quality MTB areas north of the Great Glen has recently been published and includes Abriachan, Carbisdale and Balblair, Golspie Highland Wildcat, Learnie and Strathpeffer.
